Kim Salt is a freelance illustrator based in New York. According to her bio on Behance her work celebrates the inner magic of the mundane and the unique rhythms of living things.”

With a client list that ranges from The Guardian, The New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal, Kimberly is a sought after illustrator with a very colorful and flowing art style.

One of our favorites of her work is a group of images from her 2015 illustrations (a sample below).

Cloud Atlas Commission

Back in 2013, Kim was commissioned by a company called NOWNESS to illustration each of the main characters in the story of Cloud Atlas. Our favorites are the future Neo-Seoul character (upper-right) and the composing assistant (lower-left)

One of her latest works this year is the section cover and spots for articles on parenting for The Washington Post. With a fall season color palette, flowing forms, and lovely gestures, these illustrations are a great complement of the article.
